While we are a few months away from the complete launch of Apple’s new operating system, iOS 17, the tech giant has started releasing the public betas of the update. Last week, Apple released the first beta of iOS 17 with new features, including iPhone Live Voicemail. Although Live Voicemail is a helpful feature, many people don’t know how to use it. Here is how to use and activate the iPhone Live Voicemail feature in iOS 17…
iPhone Live Voicemail lets you block spam calls
One of the best features of the iOS 17 is the iPhone Live Voicemail feature, which helps you block spam calls as well as lets you decide whether you want/need to answer from callers you do know. Apple released this feature because most spam calls are not blocked by carriers or applications. Thanks to the new feature, there is a block button to get rid of these callers.
Apple explains the new Voicemail feature, “Live Voicemail gives users the ability to see real-time transcription as someone leaves a voicemail, and the opportunity to pick up while the caller is leaving their message. Calls identified as spam by carriers won’t appear as Live Voicemail, and will instead be instantly declined. With the power of the Neural Engine, Live Voicemail transcription is handled on-device and remains entirely private.”
How to activate or deactivate iPhone Live Voicemail?
While iOS 17 is still in beta, you can try the new features if you’ve enrolled in the beta. You can follow these steps to activate the feature:

While in the Live Voicemail transcription:
